Smuded Mascara??!

I have very deep set and hooded eyes, and no matter what, every time I wear mascara, after a few hours I end up with smudges under my eyes. And I dont even apply mascara on my lower lashes because of this! Does anyone know any smudge-proof brands to try?? Desperate to stop looking like a raccoon!

I have the same problem. I’ve tried at least 20 different mascaras and the best one for me is from a Japanese brand called heroine! It refuses to budge so it doesn’t smudge on the lower lash line throughout the day like most mascaras do for me. You can definitely get it for under $15 I believe since I got mine around ~$10 on sale! My mom loves it too and her eyes are hooded and her skin is very oily. The downside is it’s such a pain to remove but that’s better than looking like a raccoon in my opinion. Double cleansing and a qtip with micellar water to remover the little left over bits work best for me! I highly recommend trying it out! The one I use is the volume and curl version 🙂

Do you use powder on your under eyes?  Sometimes the oils on your face will grab the mascara off your lashes and an oil absorbing powder helps.

If despite using powder and this happening with any mascaras you try, you can try using a clear mascara as a top coat over your black mascara so that when your lashes touch your face it’s the clear mascara that will transfer;) @katiejwright

Tubing mascara! I had the exact same problem, and tubing mascara was the solution. I use Blinc amplified, but I also like Eyeko(all the mascaras in their line are tubing formula) Give it a try, you’ll never go back to regular mascara.

Maybe use an eyelash primer or a waterproof brand.  I use Two-faced Better than Sex mascara but I have noticed it flakes a bit.  I started using an eyelash primer/conditioner from Jane Iredale and I have not noticed as much fallout.
