SEPHORA COLLECTION COLORFUL EYESHADOW INDIVIDUALS - HOW TO OPEN THEM?

I own 2 of the Sephora Collection Colorful Eyeshadow Individuals.  I absolutely cannot get them to open.  Has anyone had a challenge with opening these, and do you have a solution?

Sephora needs to fix this. These are the worst pots to open. Once I FINALLY got them open I removed the shadow and placed it in another container. Absolutely crazy making.

I’m sitting over here breaking nails trying to get these things open and FINALLY figured it out! Where the clear plastic cover hooks onto the black casing you’ll just want to push in on just the clear plastic part and then push it up, kind of at the same time. I had to push it a bit hard in order to get it open. Hope that helps! This new packing is pretty awful, tbh.

I am so glad you posted this. I have been using these for years and this new packaging WILL NOT OPEN! What the heck?

Hi, @KMTOC !  I don't own any of these.  I looked on the products page.  It looks like the clear top has a hook that clips under the black bottom.  I recommend holding the compact flat with the front/center facing you.  At the center on the edge were the clear and black meet, push in on the clear edge/lid and pull up at the same time as pushing in.  This should unclip the lid from the base.  I don't know how hard you'll have to press.  If all else fails, take it to the store to have a sales associate help.
