Primer and wing or cat eyes tip

Hi, I have two questions that I'm hoping to get help with. What do you recommend is a good eyeshadow primer. Second, what tips do you have get a good wing and cat eye look. I have hooded eyes and wear glasses so i have trouble getting to show up and have to stick close to the mirror to do a halfway decent wing/cateye. (I keep hitting the mirror trying to squeeze in the brush). I know practice make perfect, but is there an easy way?

I have oily eyelids so my eye shadow does not stay put unless I have an eyeshadow primer on. My holy grail is the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion Original

If you're doing a cat eye, I recommend using a card, like a business card against your outer eye to help you outline your wing. It basically works as a stencil.

Or, you can use makeup tape to perfect your winged liner. I like the SEPHORA COLLECTION - Line Up Makeup Tape.

@Anonymous I love MAC prep and prime 24 hour eye base. I would also recommend using tape and drawing little dots and connecting them.

As for winged liner, I usually use tape to help me get a straight line. You can also try making dots and connecting them to make a wing.
