New hourglass mascara thoughts?

The mascara is fairly new so not too sure how many of you have tried it yet. I saw the description say smudge and flake proof. I'm quite skeptical of these claims since I've only been successful with Japanese brand mascaras not smudging. Has anyone tried it yet? Someone that also has a lot of smudging issues with mascara? Thoughts? Is it easy to remove? Please no Influenster reviews .. Thanks!

I work 12 hour days at an animal hospital and I like it. The mascara goes on thick though and can become spidery looking if you're not careful. It seems to last though and doesnr smudge under my eye even with sweat all day. It's not my go to or favorite but its top 5 for me.

Lol your post says no influenster responses please and so many of these say from influenster... here are my two cents on it. It’s a nice mascara. Just nice. It’s not revolutionary or life changing. I don’t think it’s my holy grail either. It adds length and separation so if that’s what you’re looking for then this does a great job. It doesn’t do much for volume. It’s buildable. It stays well. It doesn’t flake or smudge. If it did more for volume and thickening it would rank higher for me. What do you look for in a mascara @mmmiu ?

lol... TBH, i didn't even bother reading them, just scanned it quickly to see if they got it for free. I'm more worried about smudging... I haven't found many (that's not a Japanese brand...they seem to work best for me) that stay put.. The Blinc one is the only one so far and a Nars one (i don't remember the name cuz I tried a sample a while ago), which smudges a bit after a full workday.

I didn’t have any issues with smudging but I didn’t find it looked that great either. The mascara combo I use that has done me the most service is YSL The Shock and MAC extended play. I top off the YSL with a light coat of the Mac because it’s a tubing mascara and voila mascara heaven!

@mmmiu If you don't mind waterproof mascara, I recommend either Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Waterproof or Shiseido Full Lash Multi Dimensionnal waterproof. The only reason I switched from the Giorgio Armani to Shiseido is because it dried up to quickly. Both of these withstand heat, humidity, tears etc. Most mascaras smudge or flake on me.

I had an amazing experience with my Caution mascara! I also have issues with my mascara smudging but this one doesn't move at all on me. I actually find it quite difficult to take off! I received this product through an Influenster Vox Box for testing purposes.

I did a before and after because I have really light lashes and tend to struggle with finding the right mascara. I think it's really good for lengthening. It made my lashes a little spider-y but I like that vibe personally. My only issue is that it doesn't wear quite as well over the day and I can tell that it's smudged by night time. I also did get the mascara to test so want to make a note of that.

I received the Hourglass Caution mascara complimentary from Influenster and I am loving it! The packaging is amazing and the formula is to die for! It’s pricey but definitely worth it

This mascara is seriously magical. I received it complimentary for testing purposes and was really skeptical because I’ve never heard of a mascara from hourglass. It doesn’t transfer which is usually a recurring issue I have with mascaras, it lengthens, separates and volumizes. Really just everything you would want in a mascara.

I received it as a complimentary product for testing purposes and have been really impressed! I have naturally long lashes but they lift and seperate them well. The only negative is the packaging - which it’s adorable and eye catching, I like to spin and wiggle the wand as I’m applying mascara and it’s hard to do that with the triangular shape of the wand handle. Besides that I recommend the product.

This product does add all the volume it promises and really makes your lashes pop.

I received this product complimentary for testing purpose. However, it is not necessarily my number one choice in mascaras.

I also received this mascara from Influenster and it does a great job lengthening but does get sort of clumpy at the ends of your eyelashes. A bit spider-like. I probably will stick to my better than sex mascara but I recommend you give it a try because everyone’s different.

I received my mascara from Influenster as well and I like the way it made my lashes thicker and longer but I agree it’s kinda clumpy and at the end of the day starts to flake off and irritate my eyes. I like it but don’t love it.

I received this mascara for free to review from influenster. I love it in that I feel like it gives my eyelashes a lot of length and body. However, it is kind of clumpy. Maybe that’s just my bottle, but it’s easy enough to wipe down the wand really well prior to applying.

I really like this mascara. I like a natural look and the mascara does great for me. I don't wear eyelashes or anything. This mascara brings out the best in my eyelashes though!

I’m usually very picky with my mascara, but this product is one I decided to try. It was a great price for what it claims to do. Upon application, the bottle it came in was sleek but the brush end of the stick was to small. I felt that I needed to dip the brush about 4x in the tube to get all of my lashes on one eye. The composition is too thin for my liking and made my lashes very crunchy.
