Naked Heat or Tarte Toasted?

I’m trying to decide between the UD Naked Heat palette and the Tarte Toasted palette. I don’t know which one to chose! They’re both so pretty, and I hear they’re both amazing.

I own all of the naked palettes & the tartlette palettes besides the heat n toasted palette I feel I already own all the colors in it but when has that ever stopped me really ? Lol I say go with the tarte the naked palettes have never really been my fav as a whole

The naked heat pallete for sure. The colors are amazing and you can create many looks with it because of the diverse amount of matte and shimmer shades.

I love my Heat palette! UD does shadows right and I don't think I've ever heard anyone go on and on about Tartes eyeshadows.

I have swatches both I'm in store asking myself this same question! in the end i preferred the Naled Heat palette from UD. However, I wound up purchasing a Smashbox cover shot palette called ablaze. I went with Smashbox as I felt the colours were more my style, price tag better, and quality was great. maybe look into ablaze?

@MandieNRG I also have Ablaze and I love it!!!!   I am a sucker for desert colors!  In fact, I also just bought LORAC Unzipped in Desert Sunset, too! ❤️

I own all of the urban decay palettes. I love them all and no pennies on my end went to waist. When in doubt UD will never fail.

OMG, @Morganjp!!!   Tough choice!!!  

I originally opted for just Naked Heat, but eventually picked up Tartelette Toasted, too and I really love them both!

I think the colors/pigmentation is more intense in Naked Heat and the shades are more desert-like with umbers and orange reds.

On the other hand, Tartelette Toasted is a little more neutral, but it gives a wider range of textures with a few lovely shimmer shades.  The formula is a lot more buttery in this palette, but UD is also quite creamy.

I think it boils down to whether you are looking for more matte warm shades with  intense pigmentation (Naked Heat) or more neutral warm shades with some shimmer (Toasted).

I had the same delima, after reading this review I’m totally going to get the UD Naked Heat now to! 🙈😍 I went with the toasted palette and I do really like it but I was hoping for something a little bit more intense and fiery 🔥🔥🔥

I also ended up getting both. My experience with tarte palettes are very hit or miss. I went into store and played around with the Toasted palette and ended up putting it on my Christmas list. They actually work very well together.  Personally I still end up reaching for my Naked Heat more often, but they are both wonderful palettes.

@Morganjp Yeah. What @Tamara76 said. Lol. She couldn’t have said it any better. It’s really up to personal preference. I own both as well. The Heat palette has more vibrant, warm tones that Toasted. Both are gorgeous though!

Naked heat! Coming from someone who's unbiased lol. I just like the formula on that one better

Definitely UD Naked Heat it's amazing. But I'm also not in love with tarte anymore due to the shade range in their shape tape foundation so maybe I'm being biased...xx

I'd say Naked Heat. Although I'm biased on that because I'm no longer supporting Tarte.

They’re similar in many ways, I know others have a hard time choosing between them as well @Morganjp, I think it’s mostly personal preference. I really like and prefer the Naked Heat palette though, I like how the UD shadows blend out and into each other. There are some amazing looks that can be created with this easy to work with palette 😊
