Guys, have any of you tried the just peachy matte palette on darker skin tones?

I have Indian skin and I'm trying to find out how to get the peachy colors to show up on my lids. Any tips to help with that??

I have a deep/medium-dark skin tone. I swatched the Just Peachy palette on my hand and couldn’t get those shadows to show up. I also don’t like how those shadows feel, and they didn’t blend very well.

Try using a concealer in a very light shade on your lids as a base, instead of your usual eyeshadow primer. You need to lay down an opaque base that’s light enough for the Just Peachy shadows. But really, you shouldn’t have to do that. No one should have to—and Too Faced should know better by now.

If you’re willing to buy a similar palette that Sephora sells, I recommend the VIOLET VOSS - HG - PRO Eyeshadow Palette. It has similar and more shades, and some non-matte shadows. You might also want to look at the VIOLET VOSS - Hashtag - PRO Eyeshadow Palette which contains a wider range of shades. I’ve played with Violet Voss shadows a few times this year and they perform pretty well. They outperform every Too Faced shadow I’ve ever tried.

I also suggest looking at MAKE UP FOR EVER - Artist Color Eye Shadow singles and considering buying a few to build a custom palette. I have several MUFE single shadows (mostly metallics, glitters, shimmers, and satins) and love them. My favorite matte shadows are made by Viseart, but I do have some MUFE mattes that work well.

I like all three of them. Thanks for the recommendations!

It wasn’t created with women of color in mind unfortunately... in my most respectful way; it’s not flattering at all for brown skin. The pigments don’t really show up...

I totally understand. Its frustrating that that's the truth.

A peachy shade from which palette? Some palettes just don't have enough pigmentation for darker skin tones. That said, if you have a palette that is, normally, pigmented and blends well, it may bur that you need a lighter base. Do you use a brighter concealer or primer on your eyes?

I have the just peachy mattes too faced palette - I got it recently, but I'm getting frustrated with trying to put the shadows on because it's not showing up as expected it to. I do use the revlon colorstay primer but I have a feeling that it's not really doing anything for my eyes but I haven't changed my primer because I'm not sure what I should change to.

The peachy palette doesn't do darker skin justice. The Too Faced chocolate palettes are good but, even then their light colors are bleh. I, honestly, only use three businesses for lighter colors, Coloured Raine, Beauty Bakerie, and Mented.
