Falsies

  • Hi everyone 😁 I’m new to false lashes and was wondering if the Velour The Effortless False Lash Kit is a good option for a very natural looking lash and for a newbie like myself? If any of you have other suggestions please let me know. I really appreciate all the help in advance ❤️

Re: Falsies

I think that kit is excellent, I just recommended it to someone today. The lashes are quite natural and it has a good glue and the tweezers. Lashes can be tricky but this is one I e purchased and repurchased becaus I like the natural look of these. Good luck! @MeganMacEwan

@MeganMacEwan @For a beginner I would start with drugstore like Ardell individual lashes or Ardell 110.

Just remember If you mess up the Velour ones that’s $26 down the drain.

Re: Falsies

Hi @MeganMacEwan! False lashes are tricky even for the most skilled artists. I do like the ones you’ve picked out though. They’re already trimmed, which removes one headache. I would recommend having a pair of tweezers to hold them. As you learn to apply them,  you can eventually lose the tweezers and just use your hands. Also, apply them while sitting at a vanity or table with a mirror. Being able to plant your elbows will help keep your arms and hands steady.

Re: Falsies

I haven’t used them in so long but I would highly recommend Ardell for beginners. That’s all I use and it’s affordable.
