Eye shadow and green eyes

Ok so my eyes are a green hazel kind of color but no matter what I try eyeshadow just don't look good what do you guys suggest

@Anonymous I think you have a lot of really good recs here!  I will just add my two cents.  I like to wear Too Faced Natural Eye palette with Silk Teddy from the crease to brow and Push-Up on the lid.  Then, I use LORAC eye shadow in Pewter on the crease which is has a lot of purple in it (in a good way).  I do a good brow.  I line my eyes with black or black brown, and wear black mascara.  I've definitely gotten compliments.  Good luck!  🙂

NARS eyeshadow single in Ashes to Ashes is beautiful with green/hazel eyes. It’s kind of a violet-based taupe shimmer. Subtle enough to wear every day but you can layer it on for more intensity.

Look at a color wheel. You can google one. The color opposite (like directly across) of your eye color on the wheel will be the most complimentary color to your eye color. That said, I have deep blue eyes with a grey undertone to them and bright green eyeshadows help bring out a more vibrant blue. Just don't be afraid to experiment with a bunch of colors to see what looks best.

Mine too! I think it depends on which color you want to highlight that day - browns & purples will highlight the green; green and blue highlight the brown, but experiment! See what works best with your skin/hair! I never thought I could wear bold colors, but I have recently bought the Supernatural palette from Hot Topic with crazy bold colors & I'm impressed with how each new color combo highlights a different feature, so don't be afraid to play!

Green eyes and fair skin here, one of favs is using a very dark purple liner. I tend to reach for Black Hole by NYX. It's dark enough that it almost looks black so you can almost use it with anything, while still getting the benefits of have purple framing your green eyes.

My eyes are hazel/green also. I have olive/tanned skin and dark hair. I think orange, red and burgundy shades really make my eyes pop. Try UD naked heat or ABH modern renaissance.

I think it depends on hair and skin tone. My eyes are hazel brown/green, but my hair is red and my skin is porcelain. I wear pretty much any eye shadow color I want to! I think it is all about what makes YOU feel beautiful. For fall, I am loving blending out some plummy shades.

I have green eyes and I get compliments every time I use the Naked Heat palette. The warm colors really work well with green eyes.

I suggest, golds, bronzes and taupes. The naked one palette has pretty much all of those colors that would help your eyes pop!
