Eye lid issues with getting color to show off.

Lately I've been unable to have vibrant colors to show up on my lid? I have tried every products: ABH eye primer, NXY shadow base, & white conceler. Thanks for any solutions.

I still stick with MAC paint in Painterly or Ochre. i've used it for years and find it to be the best as it's a more opaque product than the thinner "eye primers". your makeup looks are great!! killer highlight 🙂

Hi @ajmartim,

To make sure your eyeshadow looks vibrant and lasts all day, I highly recommend the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion Original.

Thanks for the recommendation. I have tons of there eye shadow primers.  I think it was the palette (James Charles Morphe). It never works for me.

I use tartes shape tape concealer as my base. Maybe it’s the pallet itself or maybe you need to stamp more color on before you start blending? I’m no expert but I’ve learned some pallets are definitely more pigmented than others. One of my favorite pallets is colourpop but I’m sure Sephora doesn’t sell it but they should because it’s actually a fairly good brand.

It was the James Charles Morphe palette. That was the 3rd time the eye shadows didn't work for me.
