Thank you Sephora and Kat Von D Beauty! 🖤🖤
I was so excited when saw that I had a package from Sephora earlier this week, when I opened it and began reading about Liner X, I became ecstatic!
KAT VON D - Liner X is a new vegan, waterproof, liquid eyeliner by KVD. It’s available in one shade “Trooper Black,” and looks just a touch darker than Tattoo Liner (that’s right it’s more black!) but has very similar packaging and felt tip. I also find Liner X to skip less, it glides along the lid smoothly and flawlessly to create a tight, sharp edge.
I’ve been loving this for tight lining right against my lash line to help them appear thicker and more full, I love the way it pulls a look together! Using this Liner has been fun and easy, I love the bold looks it can help create and that it’s so long-lasting, I’m looking forward to creating more looks with it!
Thank you so much to Sephora and KVD for the opportunity to try the Liner X! 😊
Liner X is now available! KAT VON D - Liner X
Congrations to everyone who received Liner X to try out! @darlyndar @AlanaLecter @angel7594 ☺️🖤
Thank you @lmaster, that’s really
nice of you to say 😊
I’m glad you liked them @samkeaysxo! ☺️
Thanks so much for your thorough review in words and in pictures, @bakeamuffin. Your review as well as others have piqued my interest in this product.
I’m so happy to be able to share @TraceyEB! 😊
Awesome review, thanks for the thorough information. Your looks look great with it @bakeamuffin!
That means a lot to hear, thank you @CC3616! 😊
@bakeamuffinyou look fantastic, thanks for the liner comparisons ❤️
@bakeamuffinso awesome that you got this! I really like your comparision between the different liners. I don't know, I love the Stila one a lot...KVD tattoo is very good but it dries out a lot faster than the Stila one I think.
The Stila Liner does seem to have quite a bit of longevity @sp1771! I suppose only the test of time will tell if Liner X dries out after a month or so, or if it lasts longer like Stila. I’ll continue to use it regularly and post back when it dries/runs out ☺️
Congrats, @bakeamuffin! I'm glad to hear the liner is working well for you!
Congratulations @bakeamuffin! So happy you were chosen - and that you are enjoying this product!!!
@bakeamuffin, @angel7594, congratulations, both on receiving the gratis! KVD makes such great liquid liners; I personally love KVD Ink-it and Tatoo liners equally and often switch between the two, depending on the liner thickness that I want to achieve. Would love your thoughts on how Liner X compares to the other two KVD liquid liners! 🙂
With Liner X, I can press gentle and apply a smooth stroke to line the lash line; I only have to do one application. It completely filles in the area with without skipping and it’s super opaque. If I apply just a bit more pressure it’s easy to create a thicker line, the liner stays consistent in that it still creates a smooth, opaque line.
With Tattoo Liner (the liquid liner I typically use) I can create a smooth line, but I find it doesn’t apply quite as smooth and sometimes I have to go over it twice to properly fill in the area. It can also be used to create a thicker line, but it isn’t as black.
Tattoo liner is said to have a Satin Finish but I find that Liner X has more of a glossy/satin finish, I think the more instnse black color of liner x makes the finish appear more smooth to create that polished satin finish.
Unfortunately I haven’t tried Ink-it so I can’t compare it, sorry @MlleCC!
Based on this, Liner X seems like a hybrid of Ink liner and Tattoo Liner.
