Any recommendations for a good skinny/precision eyeliner?

Hello BTers,

Any recommendations for a good, slim eyeliner? I prefer gel eyeliners (no pots if possible), but find that most of them are too thick, and so I don't have as much precision.

RE: Any recommendations for a good skinny/precision eyeliner?

Katvond tattoo liner is the best !! It's been my absolute favorite !!

Re: Any recommendations for a good skinny/precision eyeliner?

Lorac Front of the Line Pro is my favorite skinny tipped liquid liner at the moment. It's also budget friendly, contact lense friendly, and never flakes or peels like some liquid liners.

Re: Any recommendations for a good skinny/precision eyeliner?

@partimebeauty It's not a gel but the Blinc eyeliner is the teeniest, thinnest Liquid Liner ever. It's amazing. It's sold out on Sephora right now but Dermstore carries it as well. I'll add the Sephora link just in case you're interested.

Wow!  They weren't kidding with the name!  That IS Ultrathin!  Thanks, starsandbucks!

@partimebeauty I second the recommendation of the Hourglass! It's really amazing. It does run out quickly though. Marc Jacobs recently came out with thin liners and his liners are always amazing!

Hi @Anonymous!

This is too funny!  I was looking through my drawer, and I found a Marc Jacobs liner! I don't have the box anymore, but it looks awfully like the one you recommend.   I tried to look in my shopping history, but it doesn't see to go back the beyond this year.   Do you know if that they had this product back in December or is this something that came out this year?  Thanks!

Re: Any recommendations for a good skinny/precision eyeliner?

I totally going to also suggest the Marc Jacobs fine liners!

Re: Any recommendations for a good skinny/precision eyeliner?

Ooooo!!  So many colors too!  Thanks for the recommendation, themusefactory!  I will have to give it a try!

Re: Any recommendations for a good skinny/precision eyeliner?

Thanks, SianBT and lyravega!  The Hourglass 1.5MM Mechanical Gel Eye Liner is the best so far!  Very precise and creamy.  My only complaint is that they are only good for about 20 uses, which goes by fast and before the month is over.

Re: Any recommendations for a good skinny/precision eyeliner?

@partimebeauty I just bought the Hourglass based on these recs.  Thanks for weighing in that it doesn't last very long - I figured as much!  I also find that when I get a thin line, it isn't dark enough.  Then, I go over it to make it darker and it gets thicker.  Do you have any application tips?  Thanks!

Re: Any recommendations for a good skinny/precision eyeliner?

@greeneyedgirl107!  Thanks for the post!  What color did you get?  I normally get the color Obsidian (Ultra Black), and that's pigmented and seems glides smoother for me.  I did try the Canyon (Brown) recently, and did find that it doesn't glide as well/not as dark and you do have the urge to trace over the line again.  I'd say that the color you pick is definitely the most important.  You can also try angling the pencil differently to see if you can get better results.

Re: Any recommendations for a good skinny/precision eyeliner?

@partimebeauty I bought the Canyon.  Thanks for demystifiying the situation for me!

Re: Any recommendations for a good skinny/precision eyeliner?

Hi partimebeauty,

Have you tried the Hourglass 1.5MM Mechanical Gel Eye Liner? It's in a pencil form and super precise!

Additionally, they've come out with some great colors if you like variety! (The black shade also comes in a three-pack, so if you're like me and like to stock up, it's great!)

Hope this helps,

Sian

Not a gel, but KVD's liquid Tattoo Liner is pretty awesome. Skinny and precise. And very, very easy to use.
