Dry under eyes concealer

IMG_0233.jpeg

โ€ƒfor the past two years I have been having major issues with my under eyes looking like the above photo after a full day wear. For example the in this photo I applied my makeup at 8am and removed it after taking this photo at 9pm.

Iโ€™ve tried a lot of eye creams, currently using dermalect, Natasha de nona concealer (the hydrating one) and then charlotte tilbury powder with a puff!

Iโ€™ve used under eye primers, different powders and moisturizers  but just not sure why my concealer always lifts, cracks, separated and creases. Any advice is appreciated!

Re: Dry under eyes concealer

Hey there! were you able to find a solution to this? This is exactly what my under eye area looks like. Sometimes the skin underneath looks like this when I'm putting on concealer too (not just at the end of the day). I moisturize every day and night so I'm not really sure what's causing the dryness and how to prevent it from showing through my concealer!

@Melissa0293 With concealer, less is more, especially that area. That area is one of the most expressive parts of your face and the skin moves there a lot. Check you Wayne Goss on YouTube. He has a video that shows the best place to apply concealer, which is just around the inner corner of the eye.

If youโ€™re using concealer to deal with dark circles, you could try a colour corrector under your foundation. Use a peachy one for bluish dark circles or yellow if theyโ€™re purpleish.
