Have a deeper hue and want to know how a product might look on your skin tone?  This is the place for you!

Several ladies expressed interest in having a BIC group dedicated to WOC.  Such a group would serve as a central reference point for swatches, color matching and the like, which can often be difficult to find.  While I have no idea whether such a group will ever be created I figured it would be nice to at least have a thread.

It should go without saying, but  **Ladies (and gents) of all hues are more than welcome **

ymwow I would never have tried them! I got Zinfandel today and while inappropriately named, it is a simply gorgeous warm coral! I will swatch it tomorrow.

@ElleElleG Thanks for starting this thread. I have been thinking about this topic. Hourglass lipstick MUA used during my makeover looks totally different in swatches or Sephora virtual artist (even on the medium skin tone model) than it is on me (probably because how pigmented lips are) and I wouldn’t have picked it up myself. That is when I realized that color products also can look totally different on WoC and not just complexion products.

@naturalooks15 I’m also having the same problem. Even with some of my swatches don’t look the same on my faces.

Absolutely @naturalooks15 !  I completely understand!  The number of times I've purchased a lipstick thinking it'll look the way it does in the tube or someone lighter only to get home and it look like I ate a powdered donut because my lips are pigmented, beyond frustrating.

Hoping this thread will help reduce some of that.  Glad to have you here!!
