sephoria "ran out" of gift bags

i received confirmation that i won't be getting my promised swag bag because they "ran out". that doesn't even make any sense. did they not originally organize one bag per ticket holder? how do they just run out? and even if they did, they could make another one- they certainly have the stock and ability to. 

 

this whole sephoria thing has been the biggest disappointment and been so frustrating. words cannot even explain. i was offered a 500 point reward and 25 dollar credit.... how does that even compare to the swag bag that was worth $500??

 

it's crazy to me that sephora will promise swag bags but only give it out to certain people then others just don't get it at all and get some consolation "sorry" reward. how is this at all okay? 

 

sephora is a big enough company to make this right but they truly just don't want to. the customer service has been atrocious. most of them don't even know what's going on and are spreading incorrect information with attitude like it's my fault. 

 

seriously reconsidering my loyalty to sephora. do better.

This is just ridiculous and upsetting to hear! This was supposed to be my first Sephoria event and honestly this might be my last. The cancellation was understandable but everything afterwards has just been a huge disappointment. 500 points seriously! You are right Sephora is a big enough company to make this right but it is clear that they have no intention to do so. Why does it take 2 months to ship bags that were supposedly ready for us the day of the event? I completely understand your frustration.

I also didn't get my swag bag - what can we do?  I'd like to contact the executive responsible for this error in judgement - any ideas?
