Why is it not allowing me to use my temporary Sephora credit card?

I applied for the credit card for this specific order and now it is telling me that I am not allowed to use the temporary card for security reasons. The one specific thing that I wanted just went back in stock and will not be in stock for more than a few hours and customer support is closed by now.

Just had the same issue. Approved for the credit card and was denied the temp card at check out. False advertising by Sephora.

Please advise that no one could do anything about it. Sephora falsely advertises their credit card. Yes, you get 25% off your first purchase, but the temporary card has a limit of $500, not your actual limit. So, you cannot use it on any big purchase until you receive the physical card. I would not have applied if I knew this as everything was telling me that I would get 25% off my same-day purchase.

I have a feeling they did it and dont fix it on purpose so everyone applies for the card and some will eventually give up after failed check out and the comenity bank does not have to reimburse sephora for the 25% discount

I WISH  I would have seen this before I just applied. Now I am in the same boat even with my balance under $500!!!
