Why does Sephora keep cancelling my order?

I've tried to order twice from Sephora today, both times for a small (~30 dollars) order. Both times the order was cancelled and I received no notification as to why. My questions:

1. Why were these cancelled without giving me an update?

2. If the items are "out of stock", why are they still showing as in stock on the website?

3. Why would sephora suddenly be rejecting a payment method I've used multiple times before?

Same, you're not alone - and tons of other people have posted here and on reddit with the exact same problem. Sephora clearly needs to do something as this is clearly a large issue.
