US items no longer eligible for return in Canada?

Hi, I live in Canada but close to the border and so I shop a lot in the States. I recently purchased a mask from Korres at a US Sephora but it wasn't working for me so I decided to try to return it. I went to a store in Canada which I have done before in the past, and they told me they didn't have the software to process the return. Is this a new policy? I have definitely made cross-border returns in the past with no issue. Perhaps this is because Korres isn't offered as a Canadian brand? I'd just like to know for future what the return policy is between US-Canada so I can make more informed choices before shopping!

Hi @madelinexox, sorry for the confusion! If the brand is not carried in the country in which you are returning, the store isn't able to accept the return or exchange. If you're ever unsure, I always recommend contacting your local store directly for more information!
