Sephora Visa Credit Card Declining

  • I have the Sephora Visa Signature Credit Card. I paid it off a few days ago and the payment shows to have gone through. My balance is $38 as that is what was pending when I made the payment and my available credit is over $1000. I tried to make a purchase yesterday and my card declined. We tried the lookup and that declined as well. 
    When I called the number on the back of my card they told me my account is in good standing and it’s probably just my card so they’re sending me a new one. But even with looking up my account by ID and SSN it declined. They obviously were no help. 
    Has this happened to anyone else and know why it isn’t working?
