Rewards of 750 or higher always SOLD OUT.

what's the point of being a VIB or Rouge when you can't ever redeem your points? I check weekly and anything over 500 is always SOLD out. why???

Yesssss! Can someone complain to costumer services or something because ive been waiting for a while to get to rouge and now it just seems useless!

^^^^^^^

Re: Rewards of 750 or higher always SOLD OUT.

Every. Single. Time. It's honestly laughable at this point how the 750+ rewards are ALWAYS sold out. Absolutely ridiculous!! I've started shopping on other sites, where the reward programs actually make sense!

Re: Rewards of 750 or higher always SOLD OUT.

Ditto for me, so frustrating!

Re: Rewards of 750 or higher always SOLD OUT.

Wow! I thought it was just me. I’ve been saving my points for awhile now and I’m close to 1000 but every time I check now, there’s nothing for points over 500. It makes no sense. I feel like this is definitely just a scam. How greedy of Sephora.

Re: Rewards of 750 or higher always SOLD OUT.

OMG I thought I was tripping but it's a known issue! Every Tuesday and Thursday i'll try to get a 1000 point reward and its been so long that honestly I've started to give up. Even though this morning I went to the rewards bazaar at 9:02 or 9:03 am (i'm in Canada), the only thing available was a 1000 hair care set from Sephora, but obviously I don't want to waste 1000 points on shampoo, conditioner, and a hair cap lol. That's why it wasn't sold out for once. I think I'm just going to have to spend all my points 100 at a time and acquire small samples. -shrugs-

Re: Rewards of 750 or higher always SOLD OUT.

After more than a year of trying to redeem my rewards points for something over 500, I am finally quitting Sephora.  As of 2020 I'm switching to Nordstrom since many people have pointed out they have the same products, a points system that isn't deceitful and stores you can move around in.

Re: Rewards of 750 or higher always SOLD OUT.

Thanks!  I have over 3,500 in points and am tired of seeing this sold out business on rewards. I will give Nordstrom’s a try instead!

Re: Rewards of 750 or higher always SOLD OUT.

Absolutely agree! I’m so frustrated with the rewards system! Always sold out and what’s the point?! Come on Sephora!

Re: Rewards of 750 or higher always SOLD OUT.

I have the same problem even if I log in at 9am on Tuesdays and Thursdays when the new 750 rewards are released. What's the point of spending here and saving our points if there is no chance to get what the rewards we want?

Re: Rewards of 750 or higher always SOLD OUT.

This post was originally from 2017 and this issue is GETTING WORSE.

@JnoPDx 100% agree !!!! such a shame!!

@JnoPDX 100% agree !!!! such a shame!!

Re: Rewards of 750 or higher always SOLD OUT.

I have spent hundreds of dollars at Sephora and literally give up trying to use my rewards. I am moving my business elsewhere - the rewards are garbage and on the rare occasion I find something i want - it's sold out.

Maybe consider getting rid of this program, Sephora. This is extremely bad customer service.

Re: Rewards of 750 or higher always SOLD OUT.

I agree with you.  I have accumulated 3500 points and have tried for 2 years to use them.  Every store is sold out of items to select and online they are all listed as sold out - except for small 100 point sample sizes that other places give away for free.  Seems the highest value customers are the ones getting screwed over and this points program is just a marketing scam that does not deliver.

Re: Rewards of 750 or higher always SOLD OUT.

Hi @Patsy2,

I am so sorry to hear this that you are experiencing trouble with redeeming a reward of your choice. I understand this can be frustrating. I will share your feedback with our teams for review and consideration so improvements can be made. Please be sure to check back every Tuesday and Thursday around 9 AM, PST for new rewards. I hope you're able to redeem in the future! Thank you!

Best,
Rebecca

Re: Rewards of 750 or higher always SOLD OUT.

Did anything change?  I WILL take my business elsewhere.  I find it dishonest business practice.

Re: Rewards of 750 or higher always SOLD OUT.

I spend hundreds of dollars at Sephora, (me and three daughters). If I added it all up I wouldn’t be surprised if it were thousands.  I have more than 8,000 points currently and I can’t use them on anything good. The 100pt items I’ve had before or are crappy.  The 500pt rewards have been the same so long I’ve stacked my closet with the striped boxes. Anything over 500 is always sold out, and the real rewards are there glaringly displayed as “sold out” just to tell you what you DIDNT get. I’m going back to Nordstrom who always pack my boxes with MULTIPLE samples. And they’re great ones!

Re: Rewards of 750 or higher always SOLD OUT.

Also frustrated with Sephora's rewards system - do you find a lot of similar brands at Nordstrom? I do like their rewards, I'll will look into this - thanks!

Re: Rewards of 750 or higher always SOLD OUT.

This seems to be a relatively new problem.  I used to have no trouble getting whatever 500 point rewards I selected.  Many seemed to be available for quite a while.  Now they are gone immediately.  I have over 750 and can't use them.  I also don't recall when they dropped from three samples to two with every order, but often I don't get what I pick.  Is Sephora getting stinger with their freebies?

RE: Rewards of 750 or higher always SOLD OUT.

Same here. 9am PST is the most busy time at work for me. There is no way I can check my phone. I wouldn’t even be able to sit down at 9. By the time I can check my phone or computer, the good stuff is long gone. And Sephora really should remove those “sold out” ones as soon as they are gone. In fact they are not fast enough to take those down.
