Rewards Points Disappearing!

Without warning I've had thousands of rewards points disappear from my account TWICE! I read that points "expire" if you haven't purchased anything in a year which is not the case and if so why didn't all my points disappear at once? Why do I still have some? Is it worth it to stay a Sephora customer if they are going to scam me?

Mine too, I've been buying from Amazon lately. Cheaper and I get the products faster.

I am in the same boat. I’ve been a loyal Sephora member for over 20 years and for many of those years I was a Rouge member. I don’t understand why points that are based on actual purchases made should ever expire?! My points were also wiped out in Jan. I was told there is nothing they can do about it. I feel like they have left me no choice but to purchase elsewhere from now on.

@sjkeys  Points don’t expire as long as you have made a purchase or redeemed a reward or free birthday gift within the last year.  It looks like your private messages are currently turned off. Unfortunately, not the absolutely amazing representatives fault, but ALL my points were taken and the supposed “manager” wasn’t able to help. I have been a loyal  Sephora customer for 20 years, even when items have been cheaper elsewhere. This drastic decline in customer service is incredibly disappointing and frankly a slap in the face for long time loyal customers. I’m obviously not the only long time customer who’s been screwed. I will likely take my/my family’s business elsewhere.

@YesMimi You should be able to view your point history by going to the Beauty Insider tab and scrolling down to Points Activity to see why points are being removed.  If you notice a discrepancy, we'll be happy to look into this for you.
