Regarding Sale

I’ve been shopping at sephora for almost 5yrs now and usually, the experience is really good. I do buy most of my skincare, makeup and haircare from there which means i spend alot of money which allows me to become a rouge member and i get 20% discount during rouge sale. I really wanted to try shark flex styler this year so i saved some money to buy it during rouge sale which happened in november but the product went out of stock within few days which is understandable. sephora is now having 30% of few hair tools and shark was one of those so i was excited to purchase this item but to my surprise it’s out of stock again. It’s showing on the app that one of the stores which is in a different city has it but when i check with that store they said that an app has a glitch and they don’t have anymore. I tried contacting customer service to see if they can check it for me but they were being very passive aggressive and told me that i can place an order as it’s showing that store has 2 shark stylers left so i call the store again and they said no, they don’t have anymore. I don’t know who to trust, the app, sephora employees or customer service. I’m just trying to use my sale coupon which i earned after spending so much money at sephora. sometimes you get better deals from retailers websites but i usually stick to sephora so that i can get my discount during sale season. I just wanted to give one more try to customer service before placing an order directly from the shark website as they also have sales going on during christmas season. however, I have 5000 points and i wanted to use those to get $200off as a rouge member i have a perk to redeem 2500 points for $100off but i have been checking every tuesday and thursday morning but they don’t have gift cards to redeem so it’s just very disappointing that after spending so much money and collecting points you’re unable to use those and the sale itself as well. I would really appreciate if there’s anything that sephora can do! thank you

@Jappanbeling12, I'm sorry for the trouble and appreciate you reaching out to us. Generally, the store would have the most up-to-date information, but if you'd like to try the store pick-up order, you will receive an email notification if there are any issues, such as the item being out of stock. If your order is cancelled, you would still be able to use the promotion with the promo dates.
