Received fake shiseido cream in mail!!

I received this counterfeit shiseido vital perfection cream(right one on the picture)

 

 

in the mail. The cream itself did not have a seal on it, the bottle seems to be a bit worn off compared to my own bottle. The sticker on the bottom of the bottle had different prints and the quality of the sticker is worse. The counterfeit cream has a pale pink colour compare to the real one which should be a bit yellow, the texture is really watery compare to the real cream and the smell is complete different. My guess is that someone used random cream to replace the original cream and printed a fake sticker. Not sure how it got to Sephora’s supply chain though. Shouldn’t all product you sell you your customer be check? Or does Sephora just resell used/returned items despite the safety of your customer. If I had not been familiar with this product I might not even realize that this is fake and unsafe to use!! Extremely disappointed at Sephora!

@Annie5i All of the products we sell are received directly from the manufacturer and we do not resell items that have been returned to us. I will send you a PM for more information.

Not sure how Sephora’s supply chain process is, but what I do know is that the product I received from Sephora in the mail isn’t authentic. 
I’ve been using this particular cream for a long time and I know exactly how the texture, color and smell should be. What I received is a completely different cream.
On top of that, the sticker on the bottom of the bottle does not have the same prints, you can clearly see the difference between the two blue numbers and the real one’s font being more clear and the quality of the sticker being better.
