Purchased fragrances a day before the fragrance sale...is it too late to take advantage?

I bought two full-size fragrances in store yesterday. I was notified today of the 20% fragrance sale. Had no idea this was happening; I didn't even think to check to see if there would be such a sale, that's my bad. Is it possible to "return" the fragrances and then repurchase them to take advantage of the sale, or something? 😭 Any suggestions? I've opened the fragrance boxes but obviously the bottles themselves are still full. Basically I am hoping and wondering if I can still take advantage of the sale, as it would be pretty helpful LOL.
