Out of stock during VIB/Rouge sale

Why is that the high end lines such as Charlotte Tilbury are always out of stock a few weeks before  the VIB sale and only restock after the sale is over?

if this is the case then I will buy directly from the Charlotte Tilbury website or Holt Renfrew, they have great sales and gift with purchases.

it’s a loss for Sephora not the customers. 🙂

I'm so sorry certain items tend to go out of stock quickly and sometimes aren't restocked during promotions! I understand this may be disappointing and I've shared your feedback with our brand merchants.

High end popular items go out of stock only when the VIB sale is approaching. Usually you restock right away but this isn’t the case during the period of the sale. I was told by a Sephora worker that the items are pulled aside purposely so that they don’t lose profit on popular items.

On a better note, Charlotte Tilbury website is currently giving a gift with any purchase of $135, you get a new Pillow Talk mascara and mini size Pillow Talk  lipstick. This is a much better bargain than what Sephora offers and their customer service is outstanding. So why buy from Sephora?  I buy less and less since your perks and rewards have practically diminished.
