No samples with order

After having to speak with customer service because I was not given an option to include my birthday gift in my order as I have in past years, my birthday gift was shipped separately, but neither of the shipments had samples. I can understand when samples are substituted because selected samples are out of stock, but several of my recent orders were missing samples. Samples are some of the biggest perks of shopping at Sephora as they make the cost of purchased products worthwhile, and if orders no longer include samples, I'd rather shop elsewhere.
