Money missing from giftcard

I'm very upset I tried to use my gift card the other day for a total of $244, i originally had $250... then I got this message that "we are currently experiencing trouble accessing Gift Card, PayPal, Afterpay , etc please try again later" well I did and it kept saying that message so then I removed the giftcard and inputed it again. Only now, my available balance was $6 not $250... so the order DID go through. Then I get on costumer service and Ashton assures me that "our system temporarily holds the funds. and since this order was not completed the hold will be released and the funds will be returned to my giftcard within -24-48 hours" well shocker is now been 48 hours. The money in my giftcard is still missing and I'm just extremely frustrated.
