Link Sephora Email and Phone Number

I always use my phone number when checking out at sephora, however in my sephora account I use my email! I wanted to know how to link the two because I recently added my birthday points onto my phone number but it doesnโ€™t appear when I open the app since the app only uses email. Can someone help me with figuring out how to link both
