On the Sephora app, you can also view the "New For You" section from the Home tab for current offers, and enable push notifications on the app. I'll take a look at your subscription preferences and I'll send you a private message shortly. Thank you!

@ShaynaCB @You can give them your email and tell them about the discount

Re: Holiday Bonus 2019 FAQs

Did an email or mailer actually get sent?  I received a Sephora email on 11/1, hair care trials, but nothing about the event.  I didn't get any emails about the last event, but I did get something in the mail for that event.  I am set up the receive all offers in email and the mailers.  I would like to be able to shop in store.  Thank you!

Re: Holiday Bonus 2019 FAQs

Hi @ncoley82,

I'm sorry you didn't receive an email regarding the Holiday Bonus promotion! I'm going to send you a PM to assist you.

Always,

Danee

Thank you!

RE: Holiday Bonus 2019 FAQs

I think it is really disappointing that Sephora is lowering the percentage off for VIB members. It has always been 20% off in the fall. If you want to give something extra to rouge, which you should, give them a higher percentage or an extra perk. Taking away from others just makes your multimillion dollar company look cheap. Really not impressed with how Sephora has been treating their customers lately.

I agree downgrade for VIB to 15% (and 10% for beauty insider) so disappointing. I can do much better than 15%. I can get 20% off at Hudson's Bay (spend $100, get $20 off AND points which I can use towards purchasing anything in the store), Shoppers Drug Mart awesome points which can also be used for anything in the store, and later this month Aveda Friends and Family 20% off sale with points that I can use for FULL SIZE products. I can't believe I am not spending any money at Sephora this holiday sale. To many better offers at this time! Hopefully our 15% off in the spring does not get cut down and I can stock up then.

RE: Holiday Bonus 2019 FAQs

I feel the exact same way! I was shocked & had a bunch of stuff in my cart I will be deleting. It’s super disposing.

RE: Holiday Bonus 2019 FAQs

Same here. I was really looking forward to the sale until I realized its 15% 😕

Re: RE: Holiday Bonus 2019 FAQs

I have a feeling this new move with backfire on them with the loss of many vib customers like myself. I know for myself they pushed me away and onto brand sites. Much better offers as a whole. This will be my first holiday season in 6 years I have not shopped sephora during their usual 20% sale. Sephora thinks us vib clients forgot we have gotten 20% discount for the past few years. Why would I spend money with you with a reduced discount? They crazy for sure to think that is going to sit well with many. Lots of us simply will not spend money with them.

Holiday Bonus 2019 FAQs

Here to post the obligatory "I didn't get an email about this" comment... I got all the F&F, birthday, and most recent MUFE promo emails this month so I know I'm still on the regular and Rouge mailing lists. 🤷 I came here to find the promo code, so no harm no foul, but the bummer is that I almost 100% shop in-store so I wouldn't have an email addressed to me that I could show them if a store was going to rules-lawyer the discount terms.

Re: Holiday Bonus 2019 FAQs

@fieldsofclover @LoLoBunny When I opened the Sephora app on my iPhone, it popped up to download into my Apple wallet so if I shopped in store, I’d just flash them the bar code from there. I didn’t get an email this time or last time. At least they got the date right this time. Last time they made a mistake where the Apple wallet coupon had the wrong date range (said 2 days only) so the rest of the time, the stores had to manually put in the discount. Still would’ve been nice to get the email which never had mistakes in them that I can recall.

RE: Holiday Bonus 2019 FAQs

This is the second bonus event in a row for which I have received zero emails. As a Rouge member, this is incredibly frustrating, especially when that leaves me unaware (and therefore left out) of in-store events I would have attended.

RE: Holiday Bonus 2019 FAQs

Going to chime in here. I’m a VIB and love the discount, 15% or 20%. I’d rather have discounts or money off of items I want instead of the small free samples. Quite frankly those are annoying to me. As far as people saying they’re being cheated, well rouge members spend more a year so I feel they deserve a little extra incentive. If people are that disappointed with a small 5% change then run to ulta beauty etc. they have discounts and coupons yes but they’re getting their money from you also. Sephora, ulta or whatever company you buy from is not losing money and are still getting their profits, discounts or not. It’s the life of retail.

I would beg to differ. LVMH hate sales as they feel it lowers brand value. They failed in Hong Kong and have opened up stores in Korea which arebound to flop because you have to pickup on the boarding side of Incheon Airport. As Norvina noted, retailers are experiencing a slowdown due to market oversaturation. So instead of inticing us with more value, they are rent seeking (offering us less at same/ higher price). Saks Fifth Avenue Folio did the same thing. Have you heard of them? Probably not, because the cocky Folio department went out of business and Saks was forced to sell off another department. The same will happen to Sephora, if they dont wise up and treat their customers better.

Re: I would beg to differ. LVMH hate sales as they feel it lo...

I agree!!!  The only thing is Sephora is so much more dominant, widespread, influential, calculating. There is no other company as widespread to offer one stop shopping for high quality, global unique cleaner brands etc. Probably these exclusive contracts and investments that they make with brands that make or break brands. Their curation team is on top of their game (A++). They probably think they are invincible enough, they can take their chances and afford to lose some customers. I’ve lost all excitement for my points when I can’t cash them out for the best value.  I caved and bought the Herbivore Orchid oil (I couldn’t resist 😩 It works sooo amazing for my skin type in winter!). Eh barely registered my points grew, whatever, what’s the point, can’t use them when I want. Let’s not forget they are like a rockstar to the legions of extremely loyal customers where they can do no wrong in their eyes.

Holiday Bonus 2019 FAQs

I'm rouge and I never got an email about this.

RE: Holiday Bonus 2019 FAQs

I got an email this time, but the last time I did not. I was Rouge then and I’m rouge now

Re: Holiday Bonus 2019 FAQs

Shouldn't there have been an e-mail?   I'm rouge, but I found out about this in an ad on UPS this morning.  GRRR.

Re: Holiday Bonus 2019 FAQs
