Hello, I received a gift card recently for $100 and when I went to use the card online and removed the sticker, the number on the back scratched off. I went to the store with the gift receipt and the card to have them scan it or swipe it to use on my purchases and it did not work. They said to contact support and that they can’t do anything in store. Please help!

I have the same exact issue. I was gifted a Sephora gift card for Christmas and I accidentally scratched the numbers off. Everywhere tells me to go in store to resolve it, but there are no stores within hours of me. Please help!!!
Hi @haibop, I'm sorry to hear this! I recommend calling the number on the back of the card to see if they're able to assist with providing the remaining card numbers.
The same thing happened to me! Gift card was a birthday gift. Peeled off 5 numbers in the gift card number while removing the foil.

Did you ever get this resolved. I have been dealing with this since Christmas. Card won't scan. Numbers peeled off with the adhesive and the cashier peeled it off so she will attest that I didn't tamper with it. I get different answer from customer service. It is criminal

Hi this also happened to me, once I scratched off the back of my $50 gift card the numbers came off and they couldn't do anything about it in store or on the phone with customer service. What do I do?!
