Gift card number scratched off

Hello, I received a gift card recently for $100 and when I went to use the card online and removed the sticker, the number on the back scratched off. I went to the store with the gift receipt and the card to have them scan it or swipe it to use on my purchases and it did not work. They said to contact support and that they can’t do anything in store. Please help!

The same thing happened to me!  Gift card was a birthday gift.  Peeled off 5 numbers in the gift card number while removing the foil.

Did you ever get this resolved.  I have been dealing with this since Christmas. Card won't scan. Numbers peeled off with the adhesive and the cashier peeled it off so she will attest that I didn't tamper with it. I get different answer from customer service.  It is criminal

The same thing happened to me 😞 I really think they should change the gift cards. I just received one for my birthday for $100 and some of the number scratched off - what can I do?

Hi this also happened to me, once I scratched off the back of my $50 gift card the numbers came off and they couldn't do anything about it in store or on the phone with customer service. What do I do?!

Can you please help me. I have the same issue. Was gifted a $100 GC in April for my bday and went to use it today 7/28 in Costa Mesa. The Cashier peeled the sticker and numbers on the GC and Pin are blank. The manager told me to call CM service and CM told me the store had to do it because the card comes from a 3rd party. The Manager then indicated the card is sticky and should have been scratched not peeled. The issue was not resolved and I have spent about 2hrs trying to guess the numbers. Please help.
