Gift card balance disappeared

Hi there,

I had recently received a sephora gift card as a gift, and as soon as I got it, I went to the account -> payments and credits section and successfully entered the card number and PIN code. It told me the card was worth $30, and I had not purchased anything using that money as I was going to save it. I don’t have the physical card any more because I didn’t think that the money wouldn't be stored, I thought that the balance would have been redeemed to my account as soon as it told me it was $30. However as I searched online, I saw that the app doesn’t store or hold any gift balance. I was trying to check out an item using the gift card just now, but the gift card is not on the my "payments” list and I cannot even re-apply it as I do not have the physical card anymore and don't know the card number or PIN. Is it possible for someone to look into this issue? I am devastated and hoping it can be recovered.

I am having the same issue getting a run around from customer service where one agent tells me there’s a ticket to resolve the issue and others tell me sorry we can’t do anything. So frustrating. Were you able to resolve your issue?
