Disgusting use of TRE banning Customers from Exchanges and Returns

Dear Sephora how low can you go ? The beauty community is meant to inspire and so far ulta is leading in their ethos ! I was shocked to find I was banned from doing and exchange in the store . There was no reason I did not have excessive returns but I have exchanges products a few times . Sephora is using underhanded ways to make money off banning returns which are legitimate in nature . Since you have placed a 365 day ban on me I will also do the same and also limit my use of Sephora ! You Guys are deceptive and evil

Dont bother calling TRE- they are shady AF.

 

There is currently a class action lawsuit against them for violating our privacy rights and for being shady AF.

 

Google it and add your name to the list so that you get paid when Sephora and TRE settle - which they will because violating privacy laws is not cool. Just look at Equifax - they are paying people hundreds/thousands back through the class action lawsuit.

 

Also don’t call TRE because they will data mine your phone call, log all your info, etc and still say there’s nothing they can do. Then they’ll say to call Sephora and as you can see by this lameeee canned response by some random Sephora not hack employee, Sephora says to call TRE.

 

so they are just giving you the run around.

 

sephora- superrrr shady you’re tracking and violating privacy of customers- forget about the returns, what are you DOING with our personal data and beauty insider account info??’ Who are u selling it to? We are disgusted by your actions.

I totally agree what algorithim is it they used is beyond me because all my returns were traceable .

It’s so frustrating!!! Same thing happened to me.  The Sephora employees told me to always buy it and then just return the item since they can no longer give samples because of COVID.  It was so embarrassing when my return was declined today. I called TRE and the guy was so rude and then I called Sephora and they said they can’t do anything. I’m not going to shop at Sephora anymore because it was not cool. They shouldn’t encourage people to buy stuff and just return it if it doesn’t work out.  They should make prepackaged samples for their products so people can try which formula and color will for their skin rather then having the customers buy it and then return it.

I looked at the returns from that time and none of it warranted the ban you all placed . I am still shopping at Sephora you can clearly see I am still rouge . I have changed my shopping habits and buy carefully since you all do not give the freedom of return and exchanges .
