Didn’t Receive Order Confirmation Email

Hello,

Today (5/24) I placed an order and didn’t get an order confirmation email. It’s very strange because I usually always get it and the odd time I didn’t get it eventually, it had arrived late but I still got it. This time I chatted with Customer Support and they told me that I will most likely get it soon and that everything is good with my order but I keep checking my email and it’s still not there. The charge is also pending on my credit card. I hope somebody helps me!

5/30 Update:

My Sephora order finally arrived today.

5/25 Update:

I got a shipment confirmation email at 10:58pm. Still very confused as to why I never received the order confirmation email.

Yesterday (5/25) my order finally shipped except it shipped via Canada Post and they are having a labor disruption now because they are refusing to work overtime and my Sephora package currently just says ‘Electronic Information Submitted By Shipper’ on the tracking information. Canada Post hasn’t picked my order up yet.

Still waiting for the order to arrive.

Another update: now it finally says Item Processed by Canada Post in the tracking information.

@dkmakeuplover I'm sorry to hear that! Occasionally there may be a delay in receiving the order confirmation email. This should not affect the status of your order and I apologize for any inconvenience it may cause.

Yeah. My order hasn’t shipped yet either and it usually ships on Sundays.

@dkmakeuplover  Check your Sephora order history online and see if this order’s listed there. Here’s where to do that at Sephora’s website (I very rarely use the app so I can’t help you there): 

Green highlighter shows where you’ll find your order history.

Might take 24 hours for it to show up, but my orders usually post within a couple hours. Since you’ve already asked Customer Support: if they say you’re good to go, then I wouldn’t worry too much about it unless it still didn’t show up in order history within 24-48 hours.

Currently it’s 11:27pm and I still haven’t gotten the order confirmation email

Thanks so much for that information. It shows up in my order history as ‘In Progress’. Do you think that there was a high volume of orders today possibly?
