Defective Nars gloss set

Not sure if I am out of the return/exchange time frame. I never return or exchange anything but I have an issue with an item I bought for my daughter. This was for a mini Nars lip gloss set purchased Jan 16 this year. Nars wanted power pack lip kit. Both glosses are watery and one leaked all in her makeup box. The lid was on tightly too. I told her to store it upright but now it’s the same issue with the other gloss. Both are leaking. Can someone assist me with this please? I don’t know if these are defective? Thank you
