Credit card discount not working 25%

Just applied for the credit card to get the 25% off and even though when you are checking out it tells you how much you will be saving the code simply doesn't work it gives the following error: your order or profile does not qualify for the First Incentive Discount with Sephora Card. I have contacted 3 different agents through the chat and they all have a different answer as to why it doesn't work. Can someone help me out here, I don't have any products on sale and I'm not combining any coupons

I've had the same issue! I tried to use my discount and it says it's not valid. I just called customer service and they were of no help! This is frustrating

Based on various community posts about the same issue, it appears that the constant credit card marketing offers you see while shopping online are just a gimmick to get you to apply. The temporary card added to your account so you can “shop now and get 25% off!” is probably missing the 3 digit security code and there is no way to edit. I contacted customer support as well. They all said I had to wait for the actual card to arrive. Had I known that up front, I wouldn’t have applied. ☹️

This is exactly what happened to me. 25% off code wouldn’t apply, I chatted with 2 agents who asked what my CVC code was (which of course, I don’t have yet because I haven’t received the card) they sent me a 1800 # to contact the credit card company. I asked if they could just provide a 1-time 25% off promo code for the inconvenience and they wouldn’t. I wouldn’t have bothered to apply if I knew it was such a hassle.

Don't bother calling the number or contacting the credit card department.  Wasted my time on both only to be told I must wait 7-10 days for the account to be approved before I can get any discount on this card.  Going to call and cancel the application as I will not be placing another order in 30 days.  This is very deceitful, it told me exactly how much money I could save on this order when I went to checkout if I applied, then denies any discount.  Both agents at Sephora could not assist me.
