Canada Post Strike On Returns

I had packed up my returns already from the annual VIB sale prior to the strike announcement. I called on the first day of the strike before dropping it off, if there'd be any issues and if the return policy will be extended. Because if not, I will have to rearrange my day to go to the store, which is fine as long as I knew ahead of time. They said yes, it will be extended and should not be an issue.

In the same morning, I dropped off my packages at the post office and after they were scanned, the attendant said it will just be sitting in the backroom until the strike is over. I ended up calling Sephora customer service again just o ask if I should go and grab my packages back. They said if it's possible yes. I went back and unfortunately I was told, because it was scanned and they won't be able to give it back. I called Sephora again and notified them, and they said that my returns were marked processed. However, I do not think they generally process the returns until it is received at the warehouse.

I've been following the strike closely because if this whole thing. It looks like the strike could go on for approx. 40 days. Really hoping that I will get my refund and that it's not only subject to the regular or the holiday return policy, if the strike drags on....

I drop off 8 packages on 14 November and on 15 November at 11:20 AM 7 packages showing delivered one is showing delay. Today is 13 December i did not get any refund. Also, i am rouge member no body solve problem even we spent too much on sephora. I talked many times to customer service about refund from 8 packages 5 was mine and they are saying to wait until 15 December also they are saying they can’t help with that package which one is not showing delivered. I have question is this our responsibility after dropping packages to deliver at warehouse ? Why they are saying can’t help with that package? Few months ago in April I returned one package and it was showing not delivered at warehouse i talked to customer service and they said same they can’t help until package not delivered but that time Canada post forgot to scan package during delivery and i got refund, this time i am not getting response about my refund what i can do my money is stucked even package was delivered in warehouse.
