Can't find my account by phone number in-store

Every time I go into the Sephora store and give them my phone number they can't find my account, so I have to give them my long email address instead. Why can't they pull up my account with my phone number? Also, can I get a physical beauty insider card sent to me in the mail? I am VIB Rouge. I would like to have my card for quick in-store purchases or at least be able to just give them my phone number at the register. I know I can pull up a digital copy of my card to scan on my phone but I would like my phone number linked to my account and a real card as well. Thanks!

I do have an old account with like 50 points on it that probably has that phone number too. Is there any way my points can be transferred and my old account be closed since I do not need 2 accounts? I only need this VIB Rouge account which I always use. I accidentally signed up for another account when I lost my old card and login info.

Hi sweetie, you did get my two accounts merged however to this day, they cannot pull up my Sephora account in store with my telephone number. Please help. I can give you my email address I use to login & my telephone number so you can connect them in the system so they can pull me up via my telephone number since my email address is so long. Thanks! XO
