Birthday Gift Scam

I spend thousands of $ on Sephora every year. This is the second consecutive year I am not able to redeem my birthday gift because they ran out at store during December (All month). I visit the store 3 times and asked for my bday present and no one offered me an option (I live in PR and there’s only one store). I got a message last week from the app to pick up my bday gift, so there I went only to be told that “sorry but you missed the opportunity, we ran out of gifts all December, maybe next year…”They told me that I was supposed to ask for 250 points, no one told me that before. I know this gift is worth nothing, but it’s the fact that is part of the VIB promotion and you advertise it everywhere. I will purchase my products from the brands site, Macy’s or Ulta. The VIB program is a scam.
