At this point, it is irresponsible of Sephora to continue pushing its credit card on people knowing the issues with Comenity.

The subject line really says it all, but the fact that we're going on a year+ of issues with people being unable to use their points because of Comenity and Sephora continues to have its associates push people to open credit accounts is irresponsible. I withheld for a long time because I didn't feel like I needed another credit card, but finally gave in because of a particularly persuasive associate selling me on the rewards. I have not been able to use them. I have $65 in rewards sitting in my account and a $250 basket to check out and I'm going to cancel it and purchase the items direct from the companies at this point. I've been Rouge for many, many years, and this entire situation has soured me on Sephora so badly that I'm about ready to stop shopping there.

And to be honest, reading through the dozens of posts that have been made about this only to see repeated replies from Sephora that say to call Comenity is just as infuriating. If Sephora was actually concerned about the happiness of its most dedicated customers, they would stop the hard sell on the credit cards until this was sorted out. Ridiculous. This passing the buck is infuriating and making me question being a customer any longer.

@ErinGibs I'm sorry to hear about your experience. We don't have access to Comenity's system, so we do have to recommend contacting them for further assistance in many instances. I will share your feedback with the appropriate department for future improvements.

As an update to this, this does not appear to just be a Comenity issue. The Sephora site is currently telling me I can't use my points because of a promotion code I am using. I am not using a promotion code. At this point, I'm just going to buy from manufacturers directly, because every time I see "4% rewards on all credit card purchases" when I am in my cart and this happens, I'm just ready to be done with Sephora. I understand that you don't have access to Comenity's system, but the lack of any sort of solve or offer of goodwill from Sephora to make this right to their most loyal customers is really upsetting.Sephota.JPG
