Products for dry curly hair!?

my scalp has persisted on being dry. It is not flakey and it doesn't have dandruff it is just dry. I have tried everything but I really have no idea what to do. My curls hold the moisture but my sclap won't. Any product or routine suggestions would be great!!!! right now i shampoo as needed like every few days and i make sure i get it wet when i shower and apply conditioner to comb thru my ends and to maintain good curl moisture. i apply a leave in conditioner to my damp hair by rubbing it from root to ends and i do not rake my hair. i then scrunch it with a tshirt or microfiber towel to dry it some more and i use deva curl coconut styler [forget the name] to scrunch it for styling. then i diffuse it on low with cold air and then let the rest air dry. full air dry i have been told can cause sclap dryness so i haven't done that in a while.

Definitely try a co-wash.  I switched to New Wash by Hairstory about a year ago and my curls/scalp have never been happier!

Maybe try a cowash instead of a shampoo? I find that some shampoos really dry out my scalp.

Hi, if you're problem really is dry scalp.  You can try lightly greasing your scalp with Design Essentials herbal complex 4 hair and scalp treatment.  I've used it for years whenever my eczema really flares up along my hairline.  You can find it in your local beauty supply store and JCPenney recently started carrying the DE line.

An alternative option is you can create your own scalp conditioner using a bit a tea tree oil, peppermint oil (or another essential oil's scent that you enjoy) and jojoba oil with water and just spray it on your scalp anytime you're feeling a bit dry.

Hope it all works out for you.
