Kerastase night serum: what do you think of dimethicone as a 2nd ingredient?

I think it’s fine if you’re literally looking for an overnight solution for soft, shiny, smooth looking hair for a special event or something like that.

For long term use and hair health, I’d pick something either low in dimethicone or none at all primarily because it can lead to product build up on the scalp (although this is easy to solve with a clarifying shampoo and nice scalp massage). 

One benefit to including dimethicone in the ingredients is that it does a great job at locking in the other moisturizing ingredients so it’s not totally negative.
