Has anyone here ever tried any of the DevaCurl products?

I've been considering purchasing some of their hair care for a long time but I want some reviews from my fellow curly girls too! So, if anybody has tried them and has something to say, please let me know.

I have wavy hair and my daughter has coily hair, so we tend to use the same shampoo/conditioner. I bought the No-Poo set and although I loved the scent, it did nothing for my hair. I never felt like my scalp was clean and I had to wash my hair more often. On the other hand, my daughter hated the scent but it worked great for her hair.

I wanted so bad to love them as every curly girl I knew ranted about how amazing they were but after using them my hair felt extremely heavy and my scalp itchy from build up. The cleansing conditioner didn't get rid of previous product, the conditioner seemed to dry my hair more than moisturize it and the styling gel didn't ever hold my curls for more than a few hours before I began looking like a poodle caught in a lightening storm. I decided after the first few uses that it was just my hair adjusting to the new prodicts and that I would continue to give them a chance (like I said I really wanted to love them) so I continued use until I had used the whole bottles and they were big bottles took several months but without satisfaction. so after striping my.hair and scalp of buildup and several moisture masks I started using renpure products that i found at tjmaxx for like 6 bucks. way cheaper and I am way more satisfied. the cleanser actually strips the previous product, the leave in conditioner leaves my hair spft and easily combed through and the curl cream gives me soft healthy curls that hold all day. safe to say as much as I wanted to love deva curl it just wasnt for my hair, everyonez hair is dofferent and I hope you fond your product:) below is my renpure hair, I never took selfies as an electrocuted poodle so I don't have the atrocities to show you lol

I have the same issue using Deva.

Yes! Although it's pretty hit or miss for me. I had to try a few products before I found products that worked for my hair type.

My hair is a mix between curly and wavy and I absolutely love the deva girl conditioner. Not too much of a fan when it comes to the cream though. It’s a little heavy and gets a crunchy throughout the day

I just tried the Supercream and I love it. It really works for my curls. I have dry curly hair that with this product it goes into cute ringlets that are perfect and not dry at all.

love devacurl products.  i have curly and colour treated hair and find that they are gentle on my hair but effective.  love the no poo shampoo and the one conditioner.  heaven in hair is one of my fave masks.  i use the coconut curl styler and the ultra defining gel and i an go 3 days before needing to refresh.  i thought the mist-er right refresher was just ok...until i was without it! now i miss it like crazy!

I love their coconut curl cream!! It doesn’t leave my hair feeling gross & i don’t have to fully wash my hair the next day.

I do! How heavy is the coconut cream thing? I just got highlights when getting my Devacut and now I'm trying to regain moisture that was lost in the coloring process.

I do! Recently switched to Deva and am having trouble controlling my frizz. Any advice on certain products to try??
