Hi @Reet14 ! Sounds like you want to treat fine lines and plump up your skin. Do you know your skin type/behavior (dry, oily, a combo of those, or balanced—neither too dry nor oily anywhere)? If you’ve never done a skincare routine before, start with the basics: Cleanser (PM, optional AM) - you want something that won’t leave your skin feeling tight, dry, or “squeaky clean.” Your skin type/behavior might help you pick a cleanser that works well for you. CeraVe, Cetaphil, and La Roche-Posay make good effective gentle cleansers. Vanicream also makes a good basic cleanser. Do you wear makeup? You might wanna use a makeup remover before your cleanser: it can be micellar water, oil cleanser, cleansing balm, etc. Some folks don’t need cleanser in the morning; I usually just gently wipe my face down with a wet plush microfiber cloth, or I’ll just use micellar water or a very gentle cream cleanser in the AM. Moisturizer (PM, maybe optional AM) - another place where your skin type/behavior is a deciding factor. A good basic option is Vanicream Moisturizing Lotion. I usually use CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion. If your skin’s reactive/inflammation-prone like mine, you might occasionally like an Aveeno body lotion as face moisturizer (oats are great at soothing my irritated skin). Folks with oily skin might prefer a gel moisturizer. Oh, and I wrote “optional AM” because sunscreen can double as moisturizer. My mostly-dry combo skin needs a separate moisturizer under sunscreen in cold weather, but not in summer. Broad spectrum sunscreen (AM) - at least SPF 30, applied generously to all skin exposed to sunlight, all year long, regardless of weather or season. Sunscreen’s the best anti-aging skincare product on the market, since UV rays can cause wrinkles (among other things). Doesn’t matter if the sunscreen’s chemical, mineral/physical (zinc oxide), or a hybrid formula: they all work largely the same way, and one’s not “safer” than the others unless your particular skin’s sensitive to a certain UV filter (ingredient in sunscreen that protects against UV rays). There are so many options on the market… the right one for you depends on your personal preferences. My usual go-to is Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen Invisible Broad Spectrum SPF 40 PA +++ but I also use several others. Follow those steps for a few weeks to get used to a consistent routine. If you want to add another product to treat a specific issue, insert it between steps 1 and 2—eh, unless it’s retinol or another form of vitamin A (the retinoid family), in which case you might prefer applying it after step 2 (let moisturizer buffer vitamin A’s side effects if they’re very irritating for your skin). I haven’t recommended many specific skincare products here… I need a better sense of your skin type/behavior and preferences before I can suggest many specific products. Do you have a budge/price cap?

Thank You! I just want to make sure that everyone won't have to struggle finding a gift for a friend or a family member during any occasion, and I also want to make sure that everyone doesn't have to be in Sephora for an hour searching and having no idea what item(s) to get for someone's special day! I love the Sephora Community and the people in it (Including😊You!!) And I love the items that they provide, and I just want everyone to have ideas of what to put in the cute black and white striped bag! Thank You SO Much for commenting, and feel free to explore my weekly posts and make sure to follow! 😊💄💋❤️.

This msg is specifically in response to a review by Ava12345 on Sephoras new baked blush, bronzer, highlight palette. Hi @ava12345 I noticed your review & it looks like the reason the bronzer in that palette doesn't work might be because they have them mislabeled in the app. The medium one shows that it’s the darkest one. And the darkest one is labeled medium to tan. Perhaps a swap might solve the problem?? I wasn't sure if you were aware since you tried out yours. 🙂

HELP!! I very rarely use makeup, which is mostly because of this issue. Whenever I use foundation or concealer, it separates on my face. Almost looks like it highlights every hair on my face, but looks kind of flakey. I have dry skin, but my skin never flakes, and I take my skincare very seriously. I have quite an even, blemish free face, but get red easily and dark circles and I would like to cover that up. Any advice on how to fix this issue? It happens with different brands and formulations too. I also have had issues finding a good shade match, even in store so that does not help.

I totally agree with @WinglessOne about the tarte Timeless Smoothing Primer 0.5 oz/ 14.2 g #and FYI, @sobekneferu the testers of this product are always notoriously dried out and the live product is much smoother/softer and will fill the pores and stay put. If you are closing the cap securely each time ( which never happens in stores), it won’t dry up like the tester. This is the only product I’ve found that will fill in the large pores around my nose and stay put under makeup, others are usually too liquid or fill it momentarily, then disappear rapidly. Might’ve worth picking up the mini to try it out. Best of luck!

@Sherrenee23 I definitely detect some green undertones in your neck area so you’re absolutely right! Finding fair olive toned foundations can be a bit of a challenge as most brands cater to pink or yellow tones, so I recommend getting a green colour corrector and adding a tinge of green to your closest fair neutral foundation matches and mixing it into your foundation on the back of your hand. It’s the easiest way to wear whatever brand of foundation you’d like and still get a perfect match. The pink in your skin is your blood so people may think that makes you cool toned but the skin itself is neutral.
