NARS Sheer Glow for Oily Skin??

Has anyone with oily acne prone skin tried NARS Sheer Glow Foundation Vallauris

If so, do you like it? How well does it last on your skin? Just curious!

@harrypotterfan6 Definitely try a sample, but as someone with combo skin (oily in some places) I use this foundation and love it but a good primer has made all the difference in the world. Hydro grip works wonders for me, but if you have oily skin the blur stick from Milk might be better. Before/without the primer it would break up and rub off of my oily spots but it didn't necessarily matter to me since my oiliest spots weren't the spots I needed the coverage as much. I would just try a few different primers over different areas of your face under the foundation and see which combos work for you

@Brutalitops good tips! I use the Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer with all of my foundations and love it! It’s a HG for me and amazing for oily or combo skin.

@harrypotterfan6 I loooooove that primer! The no28 one smells heavenly too but definitely not for my combo skin. Honestly though I am just obsessed with hourglass since I've never gotten anything from them that was anything short of fantastic

I have oily skin myself and sheer glow was one of the foundations where I used the entire bottle! I felt like it had a good amount of coverage and left my skin with a nice glow without it looking oily.

@melissabt I'm glad you had a good experience with NARS Sheer Glow! I'm afraid that it would break up on me throughout the day, but it's good to know that it didn't do that on you.

@harrypotterfan6 are you close to a Sephora? Maybe you could try a sample before committing to a full bottle.

No problem! I did end up setting it also with the Huda powder as well.

I personally found that it broke up/wore off really quickly in the oilier spots of my face.

Good to know! I know some people with oily skin who love it. Everyone’s skin is different.
