Help !

So I'm very very new at this makeup thing. Seems like every foundation, concealer or powder I apply make my face look cakey or dry. I don'treally have a face routine except wash, moisturize and prime. I also feel like maybe the moisturizer I use is not working well with the foundation or concealers I apply. Can someone, ANYONE help or give me some suggestions of moisturizers and foundations that work together to help give me a someone decent makeup job

Re: Help !

Okay, so I read your routine and I’m no expert, but here are my suggestions for this. I recommend using an hydrating primer. I love the First Aid Beauty Hello FAB Coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturizer 1.7 oz/ 50 mL. I’ve heard good things about the Milk Makeup too, and that’s what you’re using so I don’t think that’s the problem.
In terms of foundations, maybe you should try a water based foundation, such as the tarte Sea Water Foundation, which is lighter and didn’t cake on my skin. If you want more coverage, I received a sample of the NARS Soft Matte Complete Foundation  and I loved it. They carry a concealer too, but I haven’t tried it. The Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Liquid Touch Brightening Concealer 250W  also did wonders for me and isn’t as heavy as the shape tape. Hope this helps!

Re: Help !

Are you using moisturizing foundation? Or matte foundation? What kind of primer are you using? And how are you applying the foundation?

Re: Help !

I use beautyblender bounce liquid whip long wear foundation, milk hydro grip primer, neutrogena hydro boost water gel and tarp shape concealer and I apply when a beauty blender
