Contact dermatitis and clean mascaras

I’ve had an irritation with my eyelid since March 2020. The mascaras I’ve used during that time: Milk Kush, E.l.f. mineral infused and clear brow and lash gel, Wet n’ Wild Max Volume plus waterproof.

My boyfriend thinks the irritation is Contact dermatitis, my eyelid became very dry and scaly, and would form tiny cracks if it was scratched. Once we discovered that that could be the issue, I picked up some Max strength hydrocortisone (Jan 2021), and I stopped wearing mascara. It hurt to use the over the counter cream, but quickly cleared up the skin on my eyelid. Once it was cleared up, I tried using my mascaras again and got the same skin irritant as before. So I threw out all of them. Now I’m looking for a new clean mascara for sensitive skin (I don’t usually have to buy sensitive beauty products but for my mascara, it might be the best option) I really want to try the tarte amazonian clay mascara. Does anyone wanna hype up their favorite clean mascara for sensitive skin. I’d prefer to find some options that aren’t clumpy or leave me with midday raccoon eyes, although, I can’t be too picky since my eye has caused major drama for almost a year straight. Hi @Jijivisha ! A clean mascara I can recommend is Kosas The Big Clean Volumizing + Lash Care Mascara 0.32 oz / 9.5 g  - I've been using the mini version of this and I'm actually really liking it. I do get a bit of transfer by the end of the day, but I literally get transfer no matter what mascara I use (thanks oily lids). This one surprised me with how little transfer it was for a clean non-waterproof mascara. There's also a plus of it being sold in a mini! Less commitment 🙂 

Another clean mascara I like that isn't sold by Sephora is a brand called Pacifica. I like their water-resistant mascara and the full sizes are a good price. It's sold in local shops in my area (Canada) so not sure if it's accessible in your region.
