Clean, (relatively) cheap foundations?

I'm looking for a new clean foundation, using EWG as my guide. What I've found so far in scores of 1 or lower has either been fifty dollars or above, or in a few, generic, tan shades that will not work on porcelain skin. Reviewing sites seem to look at 'clean makeup', 'effective makeup', and 'makeup that won't break a student's bank'...and choose one, maybe two. Any recommendations?

Thanks!

@AmateurEmerald The only one that I've used is the RMS BEAUTY - Un Cover-Up Concealer/Foundationbut it's very minimalist makeup. If you search under "Clean Makeup" in the Sephora search bar it will give you more options. Sadly all of them are around $40-50. You can also check Dermstore under the natural tab or the detox market which focuses on green beauty.

@Anonymous Are you close to a Sephora that you could go to and get color matched in a few foundations?

I feel like you have pretty narrow criteria, so you might have a bit of trouble finding something to meet all of them. It might help to have someone help you find color matches in a couple, and then be able to find “dupes” for those color matches that fit your other criteria.

Yes, I am. I did go a few days ago and got matched to Fenty Pro Filt'r in 110. I had to rush off and didn't get matched to anything else. I loved the foundation on, but the ingredients I found afterward not so much.

You may want to look at Hourglass and Cover Fx.  Both are vegan and cruelty free.  I am interested in the upcoming Vanish Liquid Foundation -- I've yet to find an Hourglass foundation that matches well with my skin tone but I love her products.  I love COVER FX - Natural Finish Foundations.  They have other foundation lines including Power Play and all lines have a wide range of skin tones.  Since I no longer wear foundation everyday it has taken me nearly a year to go thru the tube (I break out in hives frequently at work and I like my sleep... lol).  Not sure if these are in your price range but they are worth looking at.
