clean foundation recommendation

Hello everybody this is my first post!  I am looking for foundation recommendations I would like them to be free of hazardous chemicals or things that are typically known to be a allergens. 

I have extremely sensitive skin I have rosacea. I am also 34 so I need something that’s up safe to use for older skin.Right now I am using a tinted moisturizer that I purchased off of Sephora. I forget the brand but I don’t believe that is considered clean. 

Due to my skin, being so sensitive, especially during the winter I am looking to avoid everything that has the potential to irritated and cause a full blown rosacea break out. Any suggestions from women with similar issues would be greatly appreciated. 🙏🏻

Hi @nfellrathh. I have eczema, so I understand your pain. It’s hard to find something that plays nice with my skin. I’ve had great luck with SEPHORA COLLECTION Best Skin Ever Liquid Foundation. I’ve never had a flare up cause by this one. HAUS LABS BY LADY GAGA Triclone Skin Tech Medium Coverage Foundation with Fermented Arnica 100 Light is another one. I tried it once as part of a makeover and wore for a full day with no issues. 

Have you heard of Tower 28 Beauty SOS Daily Hypochlorous Acid Spray for Breakouts & Redness 4 oz/ 120 mL. I find the spray magical in its ability to help sooth and calm my skin down if I do have a flare up.

They also have Tower 28 Beauty SunnyDays Skin Tint with Mineral Zinc SPF 30 if you’re in the US. Tower 28 formulates their products with sensitive skin in mind. I haven’t tried the foundation since it’s not available in Canada (any more…) but I’ve tried some of their other makeup without issue.

I haven’t tried any of those. Thank you so much for all the recommendations. I saved them all I’ll go through everything that I suggested to me and see which one will work best. Thank you so much.

You must try Neutrogena heathy skin liquid foundation it not only provides you excellent natural coverage for rosacea but also ensures your skin stays healthy.

As for the rosacea, look into Innbeauty for some bomb skincare. ALSO a clean brand, they have great products that will help to soothe the skin and less red and patchy.

Hey, i work for sephora and best recommend ilia if your looking for a clean brand with sheer or medium coverage. It gives a nice natural glow to the skin and really good for anyone who is sensitive as well. Second best would be  Saie beauty or even Tower 28. 😊
