Welcome to the Spring Cheek Challenge!!!  I'm looking for that seasonal refresh.  For the first SPRING Cheek challenge, (I know right.. How is this the first...I couldn't get past IYKYK, "Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking."), I want you to look towards personal moments and icons (person, celebrity, objects) for inspiration.    Look to the Gawds, dahhhhhlings.   And zhuzh it up with an outfit, or hair accessory or anything you think that's relevant.  I've declared this the "year of using my pretty things, " and I'm inviting you to join me!

That I totally understand, @CynthieLu ! 😱  Yes, I'm afraid red blush might emphasize the red in my face (which is one of the reasons I avoid pink too).

I think that's a part of it for me too, I go to so much trouble keeping the red away or camouflaging it, I can't just put it back on like that. 😱 @Titian06

@blackkitty2014 thank you! I wasn't blown away by it the first time I used it, but I used it again yesterday and liked it more. It's a great shade for every day and the formula blends so well.

All these colors look great on you, @makeitup305 ! 😍  I particularly like the Fenty; it really pops (in a positive way). 💞  I also love your eyeshadow in the second pic.

@Titian06 thank you! I've been trying a lot of red blushes lately and this one is one of my favorites.

Blush Crush feels like a coral blush to me, flushed and bold.

For this I decided on the shade Vibrant Coral from Hourglass.

Just looking at it in the pan, it just felt like the blush fit for this theme.

I layered this over my bronzer and blended it up,up and up towards my temples and then patted some more forward on my cheeks and a tiny bit on the bridge of my nose.  It was soo pigmented IRL after this photo I rubbed it into my face with my hands and it's far more subtle, I'm going for a going out today safe zone kinda look.

Before the de-intensifying:

I would never go this bold irl so this challenge was really fun to make me leave the safety of my comfort zone. 🎀

@CynthieLu, that shade is a dream on you! I've been reaching back for that palette as well. They are really nicely pigmented. I share your predicament—it's like wearing blush for photos and then wearing blush for real life, lol.

Thank you 🙏 and that is very true @PDXXXX. I am much tamer irl unless I'm really feeling it. 😅 Like bold eyeliners, I am much more comfortable going out with something like that.

I think it looks great, but I imagine that is also the pic compression not picking up the full intensity, so totally get the post edit @CynthieLu

Thank you! I definitely lightened things up before going out and about today, but the end look was so nice imo. I appreciate the challenge pushing me to try new things.🙏I don't usually wear my body so forward, I'm a upper cheeks kinda gal. 🙃 @danielledanielle
