I know we have threads dedicated to specific beauty brands but I didn’t really see one dedicated or updated for all things Trader Joe’s. It could be beauty, skincare, haircare, household or grocery items. Post your finds here so others could be on a lookout of what to find or is newly released at their local store. It could also be something you think people should try. Their beauty section is so underrated and most people don’t even know they have a beauty aisle.  Their candles and seasonal items are amazing and they always have unique snacks.

Yay one of my Trader Joe’s finally had some pumpkin stuff!!! At least I got my exercise in walking between them! I’m super excited though they did not have pumpkin hold the cones or pumpkin bagels yet!

I went to our TJ's today, but in the evening and was told that most of the pumpkin things sold out in the a.m.!  People were lining up at the door to get in at opening time.

I did find some good cinnamon roll bread.  I think it would make good french toast.

Every year I buy this ice cream, thinking I'll serve it with gingerbread, and it never gets eaten, even though it's delicious.  Probably because I never make gingerbread! 😁

@Ispend2much6 I baked gingerbread cookies made with molasses one year and they were absolutely wonderful, but I was the only one who are them. 😅 So I haven't made them since but now you're making me want to.

@curlychiquita  Sorry!  🙂  I have an old Williams-Sonoma recipe that uses shortening as the fat, and it makes a cookie that is so chewy and stays soft.  Perfect for frosting. 🙂   I usually don't bake with shortening but every once in awhile a recipe usually benefits from it.

I had lost it and couldn't find it for 3 years, online or in my stash of recipes, so I need to make them this year.

Was your recipe a roll-out or drop cookie?

@Ispend2much6 I used the drop method with a scooper.  I have to say, any cake recipe that involves at least a stick of butter is the perfect cake recipe for me!! So I understand shortening in cakes and cookies.

@curlychiquita  Of course!  A dry cake isn't worth the calories (although I love biscotti even though it's dry.) 🙂

@curlychiquita  The closest one to me is a hour and a half away. I usually try to plan a shopping trip when I know they have the new seasonal stuff.
